I am now going to do the primary research, needed for my coursework. This means I will have an original piece of writing describing what the benefits of sporting activities are. In this research I will do a questionnaire and ask my target audience what they think the benefits of sporting activities are. For some questions I ask, I will also give them an option in each question. I will also have a question only for males, female or both. This will be stated on the end of each question.

Now that I have completed the questionnaire in the primary research to random teenagers; I will now show the questions with the results and then maybe show graphs to explain the analysis. After doing this I might make a new questionnaire to my target audience, which are male teenagers. I chose this audience as my advert is mostly around football and this appeal slightly more to males rather then females. After doing this questionnaire I will show the results and then make graphs to explain the results. I would have then completed my primary and secondary research so I can start making the moving image (advert).

Questionnaire with results: I asked 20 random teenagers the ten questions, and these where the results:

Questionnaire conclusion:Overall I found out what teenagers think about the awareness of what sport and exercise does for them personally. This is good primary research as I think the results will influence in the way I do my moving image. This is because in question eight only 25% thought that sporting activities make you happier then those who do not exercise. Also in question six there was only 20% who thought physical activity is an effective tool for reducing the symptoms of stress and depression. Also in the questionnaire I found that in question seven, 65% didn’t know that sports can give you great leadership qualities.I have done an analysis of the questionnaire. This is the graphs such as pie charts and bar charts, but at the moment they are not showing. So I will add them on the end.

So overall I will use this information I got and use it in my moving piece. For example when I have the pharmacist to comment, I will have them saying that there is a benefit for sport. Such as it will give leadership skills, make you happier and it reduces symptoms of stress and depression. So hopefully this will make the audience more aware of the benefit of sport. Also there are always going to be differences in the way the target audience (male teenagers) consume the moving image. So having the three different sections to my advert will then hopefully have the audience attention to get them aware of the benefits of sport.

    Adam,
Think about how this wiil influence your product.
It will certainly tell you whether you audience group is aware of the benefits of exercise/sport and will give you ideas as to which areas you need to focus on.
Will it tell you anything about the way your audience group consumes different types of Media text? Will it help
